This Maple Syrup has a robust taste and is dark amber in color. About 40 gallons of sap from sugar maple trees are boiled down to produce just one gallon of maple syrup! And it’s not just for breakfast. Maple Syrup is an excellent substitute for cane sugar when baking. Simply use 2/3 cup of maple syrup for every cup of granulated sugar, reduce the quantity of liquid ingredients in the recipe by 1/4 cup and lower the baking temperature by 25 degrees.
